How come their lingerie are so big? I feel like a kid playing dress up whenever I try stuff on. The panties doesn’t stay on,  the bras are too big, and their XS is more like a Medium. Bah.

I’ll be the first to admit that I’m a bit materialistic. I like nice pretty expensive things. I like electronics, books, dvds, cars, computers, clothes, etc. etc. the list goes on. But I like paying for my own stuff. I like feeling the satisfying high of purchasing something that I’ve worked and saved up for myself. Anyway, the following are the only jewelry I’ve ever received from people beside my parents.

I remember the first time someone gave me jewelry. I was in 7th grade and it was Valentine day. This boy came up to me without saying a word and gave me a cup with a little teddy bear inside with a gold necklace wrapped around its neck. I didn’t like him so I was going to give it back to him but he ran away. My friends gave me a hard time about it, giggling and saying how I have to marry him now because he gave me a ‘real’ jewelry. >_< So I hunted him down after school and gave him back his gift. I remembered how sad he looked with his glasses sliding down his nose as he took back his gift. The way I figured it, if I didn’t like him, I shouldn’t accept anything from him.

The second time someone gave me ‘jewelry’ was my first bf. He gave me a cute necklace with one grain of rice inside. It wasn’t made out of gold or anything or even expensive, but I liked it. What I didn’t like was wearing it because it kept poking at my skin, so I hung it on the rearview mirror of my car. It would swing back and forth making me smile because it reminded me of him. One time it hit the glass too hard and a piece broke off so I had to take it down (this happened a couple months after we were no longer together). I put it away but it must’ve gotten lost when I last moved.

This year for my birthday I received a watch from my boyfriend that I LOVE. It’s elegant, simple and seems to fit right on my small wrist. I LOVE it. I usually like electronics more than blings but the fact that the bf picked out the perfect watch for me… It makes me love him even more. =]

I don’t cook. But I like eating. Yays.
